List of Trump's Key Positive Conservative Accomplishments

A person doing objective research into the facts of President Trump's list of actions and accomplishments since taking office will see that overall he has promoted a less-controlling government and a renewed impetus towards religious liberty in the truest sense of the word. His list of achievements shows support for traditional values and freedoms and the critical right to public free speech. In contrast to this, the past few U.S. presidents have increasingly supported globalist totalitarian governmental control, increased bureaucracy, and status-quo corruption. This is why Trump's approach has been labeled "draining the swamp." All of the following points have documented reliable sources based on original source links.

List of Trump's Key Positive Conservative Accomplishments

Abortion

January 27, 2017—'Vice President Mike Pence became the first vice president in United States history to speak at the annual March for Life march in Washington D.C. Additionally, Trump senior advisor Kellyanne Conway also spoke at the event, and Trump himself strongly expressed his support for the march.'

April 4, 2017—'The Trump Administration halted U.S. funding of the United Nations Population Fund, which has links to inhumane abortion programs such as China's one-child policy. Instead, the $32.5 million was shifted to the U.S. Agency for International Development.'

'President Trump appointed several pro-life advocates to Department of Health and Human Services positions. On April 28, 2017, in an apparent victory for the pro-life movement,'

The Department of Health and Human Services has published a revised strategic plan that states in its introduction that life begins at conception.

Religious Liberty

February 22, 2017—'President Trump rescinded former President Obama's pro-transgender guidelines for schools receiving federal aid that are subject to Title IX. A day earlier, the Trump Administration announced it would discontinue Obama's pro-transgender policies.'

May 4, 2017—On the annual National Day of Prayer, President Trump signed an executive order on religious liberty. Among its provisions, it loosened IRS restrictions against political activities by tax-exempt religious organizations, effectively weakening the Johnson Amendment; and it attempted to make it easier for employers not to provide contraceptives if they had religious objections. The order gave conservative Attorney General Jeff Sessions greater authority regarding religious liberty policy.  Although well received by some Christians and conservatives, others criticized it for being ineffective and easy to repeal.'

November 6, 2017—'The Department of Agriculture issued a guidance protecting religious liberty and ensuring that Christians who opposed homosexual "marriage" would not be discriminated against for their beliefs.'

The Supreme Court ultimately allowed Trump travel ban to take full effect: Trump's travel ban against known Islamic terrorist countries was based on national security but was also an opportunity to look at the larger picture as well. True religious freedom includes addressing the Islamic threat against the freedom of other religions. While Islamic law is flourishing in Europe and destroying basic freedoms, under President Trump U.S. laws banning local Islamic law are being introduced in at least 18 states.

The last U.S. Administration supported unconstitutional favoritism for Islam. And this was based on a naive denial that Islam teaches full submission of all people to Allah in every aspect of life, culture, and politics. A religion that is in practice based on the aggressive overcoming of all other religions is actually one that is a threat to religious freedom.

Healthcare

October 12, 2017—'President Trump signed an executive order to increase market competition and make the healthcare market freer, such as by expanding access to plans that reach across state lines and which do not have to comply with ObamaCare rules.'

Justice

January 31, 2017 - Trump nominated Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Christian Post outlined, "There was arguably no more important issue to conservative evangelical voters going into last November's election than appointing a staunch constitutionalist to fill a Supreme Court seat left vacant by the death of the late Justice Antonin Scalia."

April 3, 2017—'Attorney General Sessions ordered the Department of Justice to review Obama's agreements with local police departments. Sessions made this order to give back local control to police departments.'

July 19, 2017—'Attorney General Sessions reversed Eric Holder's limitation of asset forfeiture, expanding the ability for state and local law enforcement departments to seize property using federal law, rather than just state or local law. Several safeguards were implemented along with this policy.'

August 4, 2017—'Attorney General Sessions and the DOJ cracked down on illegal leaks of classified information from within the government, taking actions such as actively pursuing three times more investigations in the first six months of the Trump Administration than had been open at the end of the Obama Administration and by creating a counterintelligence unit in the FBI for these investigations.'

November 17, 2017—'Attorney General Sessions ended the Obama-era practice of issuing "guidance memos", which are used to enact new regulations and even to effectively change existing federal laws.'

Appointed Judges: One of Trumps most far-reaching accomplishments has been the appointment of federal judges that do not follow increasingly extreme positions of totalitarian political correctness based on relativist ethics.

Deregulation & Government Waste

January 30, 2017—'Trump signed an executive order that requires two federal regulations must be eliminated for every regulation created.'

February 24, 2017—'President Trump signed an executive order requiring every federal agency to create a "regulatory reform task force" to find unnecessary, burdensome regulations to repeal. This order was called "the most far reaching effort to pare back U.S. red tape in recent decades."

June 19, 2017—'The Environmental Protection Agency ended a $1 million program where it gave gym memberships to its employees, ending the program due to an abuse of taxpayer money.'

Excessive Wasteful Spending: 'The White House 2017 payroll was $5.1 million lower than the Obama Administration's 2015 payroll. Additionally, the Trump White House employed 110 fewer employees than Obama, and it did not employ any policy "czars." In addition, President Trump donated his entire first-quarter 2017 salary to restore the Antietam National Battlefield.'

Education

April 26, 2017—'President Trump signed an executive order ordering Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos to review Department of Education regulations, with the intention of returning power to the states and local governments.'

May 22, 2017—'Although Education Secretary Betsy DeVos supported school choice and stated the Administration would create a school choice plan, she stated she would not force the states to expand school choice and would let them decide their own policies – this showed the Trump Administration's respect for state sovereignty.[6] It was a wise decision, considering the ability of liberals and Democrats to hijack such a federal program.'

Veterans

Support of Veterans: Six new laws benefit vets, such as this one on April 19, 2017: President Trump signed an extension of the Veterans Choice Act of 2014, which allowed veterans to seek medical care outside the VA system due to serious VA problems. - By contrast, President Obama basically did nothing to address the ineptitude of VA management and extreme lack of services to vets.

Gun Rights

August 16, 2017—'The Justice Department terminated Operation Choke Point, a program started during the Obama Administration that existed to encourage banks not to do business with "high risk" businesses and that was criticized by conservatives as unfairly targeting gun dealers and other businesses not looked favorably upon by liberals. ...Unlike left-wing politicians, President Trump did not call for gun control immediately after major shootings.'

Anti-Terrorism

February 3, 2017—'After Iran tested a ballistic missile in apparent violation of a UN Security Council resolution, the Trump Administration instituted unilateral economic sanctions against 13 Iranian individuals and 12 companies.' In contrast, President Obama freely gave $1.7 billion in cash to the dictatorship of Iran based on an unenforceable agreement and related to illegal hostage compensation.

October 17, 2017--The Defeat of ISIS in Raqqa announced: 'Military forces backed by a U.S.-led international coalition have claimed a major victory in the city of Raqqa, a locale once known as the de facto capital for the Islamic State in Northern Syria.' The terrorist group has lost control over the city it once claimed as the capital of its caliphate.

'Unlike former President Obama, the State Department under President Trump described the Afghanistan Taliban as a terrorist organization without hesitation.'

Foreign Policy

Condemning Ant-Israel Bias at UN: ''On January 5, 2017, the U.S. House passed a motion condemning Obama's allowing a leftist anti-Israel resolution to pass in the UN.'

April 21, 2017—The Trump Administration refused to issue waivers to any companies which wanted to do business with Russia, which was under economic sanctions, including ExxonMobil, which had applied for a waiver. The day earlier, the Trump Administration announced, in strong language, it was implementing the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act, which blacklisted certain Russian citizens.'

June 20, 2017—The same day President Trump met with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, the U.S. Treasury Department imposed sanctions on 38 Russian individuals and entities involved in the conflict with Ukraine.[30]

September 19, 2017—President Trump gave a speech at the United Nations General Assembly in which he strongly advocated for conservative policies and ideals. He also said that, "the nation-state remains the best vehicle for elevating the human condition," among other strong statements.

Anti-Corruption

January 28, 2017—'Trump signed an executive order banning administration officials from lobbying their federal agencies for five years, as well as banning them for life from lobbying foreign nations and political parties.'

Donald Trump shut down his charitable organization prior to his official presidency. This is in contrast to the Clintons that reaped large incomes from their non-profit organization even while providing many apparent political favors as politicians.

Support of Actual Free Speech

Charlottesville Free Speech Support: 'It appears that the only person who is endorsing free speech is President Donald Trump. Politicians should be saying that they don't agree with the message of the KKK and other hate groups but that they support their right to express their views. The Supreme Court has affirmed this right. By not denouncing the violence on both sides, the leftists feel encouraged to use violence to oppose those with whom they disagree such as the Tea Party and other Republican groups.' The death and violence at the Charlottesville rally were mainly due to the apparent gross negligence and hateful rhetoric of Virginia politicians prior to the event summarized in their "Capital of Resistance" speech. The allowing of only 'politically correct' speech is actually the opposite of free speech.

NFL Protests: The president has made it clear that his objection to the kneeling of NFL players during the playing of the U.S. National Anthem is not based on anything other than misguided disrespect for the common symbol of unity in the U.S. and has nothing to do with an objection to public free speech in and of itself. The fact is, the NFL players are operating on the field as employees in mainly tax-payer funded stadiums. It's not a political assembly and there are five illogical aspects of the NFL kneeling protests that people should be aware of before jumping to conclusions about free speech. Vice President Pence clarified his support of the president's stance:

“I left today’s Colts game because President Trump and I will not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our Flag, or our National Anthem."

Compare Trump's record so far with the previous three U.S. presidents

Barack Obama was egregiously subversive of the U.S. Constitution and tyrannical in forcing citizens to purchase his 'Obamacare' and actually punishing people with fines if they could not afford to purchase health insurance. Obama forced his extreme 'politically-correct' transgender bathroom laws on the entire country without debate. With the help of Lois Lerner, Obama's administration weaponized the I.R.S. tax system in order to target and attack political opponents critical of Obama, as acknowledged by the N.Y. Times. His actions were in keeping with a third-world banana republic dictator. There are at least 22 signs of evidence that Obama's influence on America has been more in keeping with a totalitarian socialist state than a democratic and free republic as he rolled back U.S. civil rights and promoted self-destructive crony capitalism.

George W. Bush seemed to despise the U.S. Constitution with his anti-American 'Patriot Act' enforcement and his exploitation of oxymoron-labeled: "free-speech zones." Matthew Vadum summarized Bush's record: "In the aftermath of 9/11, it is charged, the White House responded in ways that not only traduced the U.S. legal system but radically transformed it, stripping American citizens of time-honored rights, trampling on the fundamental premises of our Constitution, and bringing shame on our country for extreme and illegal practices in the treatment of suspected adversaries." The record shows that George W. Bush was actually more interested in defending the secrets of his life-long occult affiliations rather than defending the U.S. Constitution. And his apparent war crimes remain a live issue because there is no statute of limitations on war crimes.

Bill Clinton's true legacy as "The Outsourcer in Chief" was highlighted in giving communist China Most Favored Nation status and an unfair trade advantage over U.S. businesses, and an act that seriously harmed the blue-collar working U.S. middle class. Despite China having no respect for the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Clinton broke his campaign promise and granted MFN to China. Painstaking research by Edward Timperlake and William C. Triplett II resulted in a highly acclaimed book documenting profitable collusion between Clinton and China: "Year of the Rat: How Bill Clinton and Al Gore Compromised U.S. Security for Chinese Cash". According to David Horowitz, in his book, The Black Book of the American Left Volume 7: The Left in Power: Clinton to Obama." Clinton was basically a traitor. The Clinton “administration’s voluntary release of all the secrets of America’s nuclear tests, combined with the systematic theft of the secrets that were left as a result of its lax security controls, effectively wiped out America’s technological edge,”. Bill Clinton's giving away of high-tech secrets and his carte blanche empowerment of China was essentially the empowerment of abusive totalitarianism.

Conclusion

Based on actual documented legislation and quotes, Donald Trump and his cabinet have been opposed to totalitarianism and supportive of basic constitutional rights and the types of traditional values that helped to make America a great nation. The prior three U.S. presidents were for the most part supportive of globalism and the types of anti-American values that are typified by the United Nations. Trump did not run for the position of 'the most-Christian-appearing candidate' and, unlike George W. Bush, there does not seem to be an attempt to try to convince the public that he is a passionate evangelical born-again Christian.

Rather than support the president for his progress in protecting basic rights, I recently saw a comment on Twitter by evangelical leader John Piper claiming that Donald Trump is a "wannabe dictator" similar to Kim Jong-un, who literally murders his own people and has presently imprisoned 80,000 to 120,000 political prisoners. It's astounding to see this type of reckless comment by a U.S. evangelical leader. While extreme leftist organizations are promoting unqualified violence against the president and his supporters, this is exactly the kind of rhetoric that we do not need.

Contrary to misinformation, Trump's attempt at diplomatic peace between Russia and the U.S. does not constitute illegal collusion towards some nefarious end. The fact that Trump helped to impose sanctions on 38 Russian individuals and entities involved in the conflict with Ukraine underscores that he has been more supportive of Ukraine than Obama in taking practical steps of support, as opposed to Obama's net effect of prolonged unrest, violence, and death in Ukraine.

The truth is, the record shows that Trump so far has done more for basic constitutional rights, religious freedom, and limiting corruption, than any of the prior three U.S. presidents.
